Abundancia is a third-generation family-owned coffee producer, with land in Kirinyaga, Kangundo and Kisii, Kenya, that roasts its own coffee. Many people say Kenyan coffee is the best there is and Faisal, Abundancia's founder, is passionate about coffee.
Faisal grew up in a coffee farm in Kenya, where his grandfather established a coffee estate, growing S-28s,S34s,Ruiru 11 and few Batian variety. "I spent most of my young years learning how to tend, cultivate and pick the best beans for our own cupping and brewing the best traditional coffee called Kahawa Chungu- in words of my late grandfather, if you can’t smell the coffee being brewed few blocks away-it is not a good cup" Faisal says.
"My grandfather was a demanding, the knowing, the exacting man who knew that was the only way to achieve perfection.And so is the coffee connoisseur, our family coffee is a product of extensive years of experience, farming quality over quantity for one man whose specifications and taste was beyond reproach.

Our coffee is a reflection of the Kenyan native-my grandfather, his reverence for the land and coffee made him a practitioner of organic and bio dynamic farming. The great respect for coffee individuality and mastery of coffee plants, allowed his coffee to achieve the greatest depth, flavors and balance.
My family coffee is not for everybody. Most people do not need that much pampering and do not need coffee which scores over 94 points."
